I understand Aiden Shepherd has gone to Shaftesbury who are a very ambitious club [Wessex Premier] I believe Maybury is still there. Also when Christchurch refused promotion to the Southern League then Ollie Cherret became manager and took his management team with him and several players. I note that Alex Cull was in goal for them when they played Bath City [NLS] in the Cup when they only lost 1-0 in the 83rd minute.- he was our Number 2 keeper signed this season. Has he gone permanently or just on loan ? The most prized players are goalscorers and we are a bit short in that department. I'm not too sure about Jake Sinclair. He has played at a high level so lets hope he comes good at some stage - if he stays with us as he has often only started as a sub. The recent new player we have signed is Mark Jamison who played for Corinthian Casuals last season. I believe he is a defender ? He was on the subs bench at Basingstoke so probably not match fit. I hope we have Lewis Beale tied up with a contract - although that doesnt protect us from the dreaded 7 day approach - but at least you can ask for a fee. Incidentally I assume he is our player - or is he still with Eastleigh and just on loan with us ?
Some of these questions the club should be given us answers for, but perhaps we could be enlightened

Also former wtfc players Louis Kellaway is the skipper and Ash Pope was on the bench for Bath City. Plus they have a new 3G pitch too.

We are extremely light on players who have experience of playing at this level and above, whilst I agree that it is the lifeblood of the club to promote youngsters from within the clubs internal structure, this has to be done slowly and not at the expense of the club (first team) losing its standing in the non league structure.
With the new ground it is imperative that we maintain our current standing and look to push for promotion in the next few years.
Whist outgoings at New Cuthbury are obviously higher than the old ground, income should likewise increase, bar, 3G, parking etc. These funds need to be directed towards increasing and improving the first team squad.
I would suggest that the squad is at least four players light of being competitive in our current league...
1.) An experienced goalkeeper. 2.) Center back 3.) Midfielder 4.) Striker or wide player
The addition of these players would then allow the bench to be stronger with players who could influence the game should they be needed.
If players are not bought in soon the gap between the bottom three or four clubs will begin to widen, this will make it even harder to attract new players and the vultures will being to circle for the more talented individuals.
