I’m one that felt Luke was treated extremely poorly by Wimborne FC, he is the guy in the non league family that everyone knew home and away, he was always behind the team win or lose, his Twitter posts were fantastic but one member of the board didn’t like what he was about because they didn’t understand the way Social media is used by our younger generation ! Nobody is perfect we’ve all made mistakes sometimes people need to look at themselves instead of pointing the blame at someone else ! I for one would like to see him back behind the goal with Richard, Billy and the new generation of Wimborne fans, I think he’s found a new fix which is definitely Wimborne’s loss and Blandfords gain. The atmosphere this season has been poor, our team walks out to no music or music that’s so quiet no one can hear it, should have come to Kings Langley they know how to get the atmosphere going before after and during the game. Not sure the reasoning behind this probably frightened to upset the neighbours who bought a house next to a football ground !

I have to agree on the poor atmosphere - the only time it felt like it was improving (Darren was on the mic) somebody complained about it & the next match it reverted back to normal. The danger is that the youngsters will soon find more dynamic atmospheres to frequent.

1.) New proactive, engaging, honest, open and ambitious BOD, who communicate clear targets and objectives / A clear out of all the "old wood" gentleman's club. 2.) A competitive budget which allows for the manager to build a competitive / settled squad and obtain all that he requires to be successful. 3.) The BOD to judge the manager on results and performances and make the decisions needed in the best interests of the club. 4.) To see progress being made off the field with regards to generating revenue - Sponsorship - Clubhouse - 3G 5.) The BoD to explain the structure of the club (Youth teams / Academy) 6.) The pitch to be sorted. 7.) Play-Offs a minimum expectation. 8.) A "feel good" factor. 1.) This has never and will never happen. 2.) Asking quality players to sign for the club at a lower level will only happen if silly wages are payed which is only a short-term solution( ie when Lee gets bored after 4 years things will go tits up) 3.)The past has already answered this. 4.)The signs around the pitch speaks volumes, 3G bookings has improved I believe but won't be profitable for a few years, clubhouse will be restricted until a decision is made on a business plan, ie a club house or a Butlins style venue. 5.)Youth / Academy totally irrelevant if there's a budget increase for the first team. ( they don't get used as it is now ) 6.)Absolutely needed. 7.)Not realistic as I don't see players playing for the management - just a wage. 8.)A "feel good" factor would return if point '1' was implemented !

The new board is still a high percentage of the old board so the same ole will still be the same ole, and a couple of new additions are equally still the same ole.

Oh dear, oh dear… here we go again…. good to have an opportunity to share our views. But don’t let’s condemn the club, the players, the BOD… or the Team Manager before: A- we complete the end of the season….. and B- we allow the new squad to be selected, train together, play pre-season games and then commence our league games for next season.

I’m sure your right about the board as your only hear what and when there’s something to hear, is fans don’t need to know the ins and outs. Players will play at any level for the right deal, and there are very few clubs that are self sufficient There have been many dev squad players in the side this season, probably more than should have and have if we wanted to stay up. Jake Carswell, can smith,Louis McWilliams, regan mason, Aidan Sheppard, joe and Lewis freak, reece Mitchell. Why won’t players sign for the manager and only a wage? Also your name looks very suspicious like a fake account name would be under, doesn’t looks like much credibility in that name

1 Has to be good entertaining football from Wimborne…. 2.Playing budget that allows the Manager and his team to bring together a competitive squad. 3 A financially stable Club, that re-builds itself to a level in the sport that both the BOD are happy with (get a return on their investment)… and the paying supporters 4 Finish in the top half of the league in year one and promotion year two…(don’t get me wrong I want us to win every game- but there is reality out there)…. 5 And fans to realise that in sport anything can happen, not everything is black or white (I know except the shirts🤣), and there are grey areas - which we have to accept.. 6 Now for the contentious one - get off people backs, the BOD have made their decision and support James and his team.. now let them do their job… And thanks to the old BOD for getting our new facility this far… we’re there errors in some of their decisions - maybe, was the playing budget for this season too low - possibly and the important one… is WTFC in a better place ‘overall’ - surely yes… But now with an increased playing budget this could and I guess should be the missing piece of the jigsaw… and I for one support James and his team to get this right next season and as far as rating his performance with league positioning… that’s for the BOD… But everyone has an opinion. I wouldn't thank the old bod, or should we say the gentlemen private club. They ran the club into the ground years ago, botched up the move, selected a team manager that has not proved himself in the slightest. I understand the new kitchen is already in a mess. To cap it all T. GRANT has bemoaning in public they they are being relegated.... Yet all this happened under his watch. Get rid of this useless bunch of dead wood. Let's breath some fresh air into this club. There is much to look forward to if the new board have the vision and strength/courage of their convictions. Get rid of the dreadful past by getting rid with all those associated with our demise, including the thieves that still are allowed to work at the club.

Webster, did you not watch the games last season, with what was a low but more competitive budget last season the manager led the team to 2/3 wins and a remarkable cup run, This season we’ve moved had issues with the pitch, and spent money on a 3G and couldn’t keep up financially with other teams therefor we’ve won the same amount of games all season as we did in 7 league games last season, surely that shows you that it’s not the manager. As for the old board, I think some are still useful other not so much.

Well done to hammer and bezza, sound like real supporters. Need more for next season if we want atmosphere! I mean real supporters not moaners. Not everyone can win, so lets make sure we at least try.

Thanks Bob. Not sure I'm a real supporter compared with others but a pragmatist definitely. I am realistic in terms of our budget but frustrated that the club has scored so many own goals recently. I look at somewhere like Hamworthy for example and it seems a well run outfit. Maybe their budget is higher than ours but they have a very good proven coach, 3g pitch, a good bod and very good social media side. As a result they're on an upward trajectory. We entered our first season in a new ground with a terrible pitch (not the clubs fault admittedly, but what due diligence took place when it was laid??), Our old "ultras" alienated, a lower budget than ever before and woefully inactive social media. I returned a questionnaire months ago offering to help with twitter, has anyone got back to me?? No match commentary last week, people being turned away from the car park and returning home, the youth coaches departing to verwood mid season, you couldn't make it up. The club has so much potential, always has done due to its location and fan base, but seems to be squandering it at the moment. However, it's a friendly club with great facilities and despite results I look forward to home match saturdays!! C'mon you maggies!
Ps I also support Newcastle (bit of a black and white theme) so what a rollercoaster season I've had !!
