There was a goal fest as the magpies ran out winners by 6 goals to 3. It was 2-2 at halftime as Bashley scored first twice and Matty burrows eqalized twice. We took the lead again just after half time with a Harry Baker goal before Bashley equalized and then Will fletcher put us in front at 4-3. Matty Burrows completed his hat trick and Will Fletcher also scored again.
Our last pre-season game is this Saturday against an AFCB Development Squad. Jonny Stuttle should be in their line up as should be Cameron Plain- they have both been on loan to us in the past.
As an aside AFCB Development Squad have beaten Weymouth in a PSF this season and Poole lost 3-1 to Bashley a week or so ago

I think you mean Billy Terrell, I believe Cameron Plain was recently released by AFCB.

Apologies - Yes Cam Plain has been released by AFCB and currently triaining with Portsmouth www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/24439185.cameron-plain-training-portsmouth-leaving-afc-bournemouth/Billy Terrell was on loan to us when we knocked out National League side Maidstone out of the FA Cup on 13th October 2020. I think Billy was only 17 at the time. Billy saved 3 penalties for us that day. One during the game and 2 during the penalty shoot out. Its interesting to note there were only 2 players in that game who are still with us. Jack Lovell and Scott Arnold were both subs. Their overall budget is clearly going to be crazy money especially for this league, so for their sake I hope they get the promotion they are clearly chasing, surely they HAVE to now?! |
